British Home Child Magazine
In the 1800s, and well into the twentieth century, there were well-intended but disastrous programs that took children from poor homes, and shipped them far away to be laborers in other countries.

Ann's upcoming book is a fictional version of such a child's experience -- in this case, her own grandfather, pictured above with his daughter and son.

Ann is now a regular contributor to the British Home Child Advocacy and Research Association's e-newsletter.
